Connor Daly’s debut album, Colors Fade, exploded onto the Americana music scene in July 2024. Writing for American Songwriter, Lee Zimmerman declared that Colors Fade “easily qualifies as one of the most impressive debuts of the year.” Maverick magazine selected the album as its Top Pick (rating it a perfect 10 out of 10), proclaiming that “Daly absolutely shines on this record.” And Americana Highways named Colors Fade the Favorite Album of July 2024 after nearly 18,000 voters selected their favorite new releases. In these and other reviews, Daly’s songwriting and musicianship was called “exquisite”, “honest and intuitive”, “sensational”, and “groundbreaking.” Capping off Daly’s explosive debut, Colors Fade was selected for placement on the Grammy ballot to compete for Best Americana Album in 2024. According to Holler magazine, “If you didn’t know the name Connor Daly before, that ends today.”
Connor Daly is a resident of Nashville, but this 25-year-old Virginia native spent years honing his songwriting and performance craft before releasing his debut album. Drawing inspiration from top songwriters like Jason Isbell, Zach Bryan, and Ed Sheeran, Daly cultivated a knack for writing and delivering songs in tender vocals that swell with the emotional resonance of the stories and universal themes that everyone can relate to. Although Daly will be on the road for a Colors Fade Tour next year, you might find Connor this Fall at the famed Bluebird Café in Nashville, which hosted his debut performance in September, or in the weight-room or on various golf courses in and around Nashville. You will also see him on The Country Network hosting the Top 20 Countdown in October, and on the cover of Maverick magazine in its September/October 2024 edition.
